I’ve been looking at Rakuten and Honey but they seem so different? Like Rakuten seems like it gives more back but I heard they only pay out every few months which is definitely not gonna help me buy lunch next week lol. Then there is TopCashback which some people say has better rates for the cheaper stores I’m looking at like Old Navy or Target. Im also worried about my privacy but I guess that ship has sailed if I want the money back. I just dont want to install something that slows my laptop down or misses the deals when I check out. Between Rakuten, Honey, and TopCashback which one is actually the best for someone who needs to save the most right now on a tight timeline? Is one better for cheap clothing brands specifically?

The problem is their app is basically useless for tracking this stuff and i cant keep driving 20 minutes across town just to check the little paper tags on the shelf. Is there like a secret code on the price tags i should be looking for? I heard something about prices ending in .91 or .01 but i dont know if that is actually true or just some internet myth.

Here is what im trying to figure out:

• is there a way to get notifications when stuff goes on clearance


• how long do i have to ask for a price adjustment if it does go down


• are there specific days of the week they do the markdowns


• do the prices in the store usually match what i see on the website

I just really need to save every penny for this renovation and the thought of missing a 40 dollar price drop is keeping me up at night... how do you guys keep track of this stuff without losing your minds?

I even tried setting up a Google Alert for the product name but it just gives me blog posts and junk instead of actual price changes on the product page. I'm fairly tech-savvy and usually I'd just use a web scraper or some basic automation but Sam's site seems to have some weird bot detection that blocks my simple pings or makes it look like the item is out of stock when it isn't. Is there some kind of specialized tracker or a script maybe that works specifically for Sam's Club? I'm looking for something that can actually send me a push notification or an email the second that price hits my target of $999 because last time I waited, it sold out in like two hours at my local club in Dallas. How do you guys actually track these specific price drops without just getting lucky?

Camel seems strictly for Amazon which is fine for most stuff but I'm also checking Newegg for a specific GPU and maybe some monitors at Best Buy so I'm torn. Honey feels a bit more all in one but I've heard the price tracking isn't as detailed as the others. Keepa looks super professional with all those charts but it might be overkill and I think some features are paid now? I just want something that will ping me the second a price drops so I can snag the parts before they sell out. Which one of these is actually the best for someone who needs to track stuff across a few different stores but is also really bad at checking the sites manually? Are there any other free ones I'm totally missing that work better for multiple retailers?
