honestly so fed up with trying to coordinate party supplies for my nieces birthday next week. I have like 12 items in my cart and sending screenshots of every single thing to my sister is just exhausting and stupid. Why is there no button for this? Is there any actual tool for sharing specific Amazon cart links with others?

I have been using Share-A-Cart for several months now and I am honestly very satisfied with how it functions. I am typically quite cautious about privacy when it involves my shopping data, but this tool has proven reliable and I have no complaints. It is much more methodical than sending individual links or screenshots. The steps are straightforward:

  • Install the extension in your preferred browser.
  • Click the button to generate a unique code while viewing your cart.
  • Send that specific code to your sister.
  • She can then use the code on their site to instantly populate her own cart. It works well for keeping things organized without the usual chaos of coordinating large lists. It is a very stable solution for your nieces party planning and keeps everything in one place.

Regarding what #1 said about "I have been using Share-A-Cart for several months..." - i agree it is a decent option if you are worried about security. It basically just grabs the item IDs without needing your login info, which feels safer. Just remember:

  • it works across different regional stores
  • you can set expiration dates on links Its definitely less of a headache than sending photos.

> Why is there no button for this? Late to this but I had a nightmare with double-buying stuff before trying Cart To Link extension. Just make sure to check permissions tho, some tools ask for way too much access imo.

In my experience coordinating group orders for years, you really gotta use a tool designed for this or you'll just end up with duplicate items. I've tried many extensions over the years and half of them are just buggy junk. The most reliable one I've found is Share-A-Cart. Its free and pretty much foolproof. Heres how I do it:

  • Put everything in your cart
  • Click the extension to get a short code
  • Send that code to whoever needs it They just enter the code on their end and boom, whole cart is there. It definitely beats the screenshot madness. Lemme know if you need help setting it up tho!
