I am so excited because I am finally planning my nieces birthday party for June but my Amazon cart is a total disaster right now. I have like 40 things in there and I really need to move them to a list so I dont buy them by accident because my budget is super tight this month and I cant afford it all yet.
I feel so silly asking this but is there a button to just move everything at once?? I tried clicking around but I only see a way to do it one by one and that is gonna take forever.
Is there some secret setting I'm missing? I have no idea where to start...
Stumbled upon this today and figured I'd chime in. ^ This. Also, in my experience, Amazon's site architecture is intentionally designed without bulk-action scripts for the cart to prevent users from easily emptying their basket. I've spent a lot of time looking at their DOM elements over the years and it's a nightmare of dynamic IDs that change every session. One quick tip: if you're on a laptop, try zooming your browser out to 50% so you can see more items at once. It makes the manual clicking way less tedious since you aren't scrolling as much. Before I suggest a specific script or workaround, are you trying to move these items to a list you've already created or a brand new one? The way their site handles session tokens for list validation actually differs depending on the destination... kinda curious if you've got any out-of-stock items in there too as that usually breaks some scripts.
Regarding what #2 said about "Stumbled upon this today and figured I'd chime..." - > I have like 40 things in there and I really need to move them to a list so I dont buy them by accident I actually tried some automated tools for this last year when I was prepping for a huge family reunion and it was honestly such a letdown. The software just broke halfway through. Had issues with my browser lagging out too, and I ended up double-ordering a bunch of stuff by mistake... it was a total mess for my bank account. Unfortunately, there isnt a reliable move all feature that actually works safely. I finally gave up and just used the official Amazon app to move things one by one while I was on the bus. It is not as good as expected but at least you know your data is safe. Just use the standard app from Amazon and avoid the sketchy workarounds. I've tried a few extensions but Easy Cart Share is the one that actually stays reliable for my Walmart orders.
Amazon actually doesnt offer a native move all button which is pretty annoying from a technical standpoint. They basically want you to keep things in the cart so you spend more. I would suggest staying off the mobile app for this task because the interface is way too restricted for bulk actions. I personally use Easy Cart Share when I need to clear out my carts and move things to specific project lists fast. Be careful with manual clicking tho because its easy to accidentally delete stuff instead of moving it.
Amazon doesnt have a secret setting for this because they want you to spend the money. Honestly, I have spent way too much time trying to find shortcuts for this over the years. The only way to move 40 items fast is to use a browser extension on your laptop. Doing this on a phone is basically impossible. Reliability is the main issue tho. Most scripts break every few months when the site layout changes. If an extension doesnt work, a decent option is to just use the Save for Later button manually. It moves them out of the active cart so you dont accidentally buy them. Which sounds like your main goal anyway... It is the most stable way to handle a huge cart without the site lagging out.
Yep, this is the way
