The Walmart app list keeps glitching on me and it drives me crazy when I'm actually in the aisle. I looked at AnyList and Bring! but I'm confused if they actually show Walmart prices or if they are just generic lists.
I need a better setup by Sunday for a huge $400 restock for our move to Chicago. I cant have an app that wont load while I'm shopping. Here is what I need:
Is there something better than the native app for Walmart shoppers?
I learned the hard way that store signal is a killer during big moves. My old setup failed during a $500 haul and I had to restart everything manually. You might want to consider how the app handles dead zones. Make sure to check the sync speed at home first.
I have used both for my own weekly restocks and they are much more stable. AnyList is the most reliable for auto-categorization, though you need the paid version to sync between iPhone and Android. Bring! is a decent free alternative that is very fast and syncs perfectly.
I totally get the Walmart app struggle, its so laggy when you actually need it. When we moved last year, I ditched it for OurGroceries. It isnt flashy but its basically bulletproof for syncing between my iPhone and my partners Samsung. We did a massive restock just like youre planning and it never lagged once. It handles the categories automatically too, so all the milk ends up in dairy without me doing anything extra. Honestly, for the move itself, I actually used this wishlist tool to keep track of the furniture and random housewares we needed since its more visual than a simple grocery list. For the food though, OurGroceries is free if you dont mind a small ad at the bottom. It doesnt show the live Walmart prices which kinda sucks, but it beats the app crashing in the middle of aisle 12.
