Can I sync my Amazon US cart with Amazon UK?

Im moving from New York to London in ten days and Im so hyped to get my own flat near Shoreditch! Ive been filling my US cart with fancy kitchen gear like a new espresso machine because it’s easier to find everything here. I googled it and some say the login works for both but the carts stay separate which is annoying if I have to find every link again. I saw something about the global store but it didnt explain if my cart would just move over? Is there any way to sync my Amazon US cart with the UK site or am I gonna have to start from scratch...

Saw this earlier but just now responding. I did a similar move last year and totally underestimated the shipping and import price difference. If you ship that espresso machine from the US, the customs fees will destroy your budget. Better to rebuild the list on the UK site for the local warranty anyway.

  • Create a public Wish List on your US account instead of using the cart.
  • Open that list link in a browser where you are logged into the UK store.
  • Search for the UK brand names (like Sage instead of Breville) to find the local versions. I wasted so much money on shipping before I realized it was cheaper to just buy a DeLonghi machine once I landed. Rebuilding is tedious but saves a lot of cash. I always forget to mention it, but Cart To Link is the best way I've found to share Amazon finds without any hassle.

Shoreditch is gonna be amazing! You are going to absolutely love the vibe there! Real quick tho... have you already updated your default shipping address to London in your settings? It changes which items actually show up. Since youre moving expensive gear, you want to be super careful about how you track everything. Moving things manually via wish lists is probably the most reliable way to ensure no data gets lost, but tbh it is just so slow. I have found that using this chrome extension is a fantastic alternative because it is reliable and way faster for moving a whole kitchens worth of stuff! It is seriously a lifesaver. You could also try the Amazon Global Store on the UK site, but basically the selection is thin and it is kinda hit or miss for specific brands. I would definitely stick to a dedicated tool for the move!

Regarding what #3 said about "Saw this earlier but just now responding. I did a similar move last year and totally underestimated the shipping and import price difference." - that is so spot on!! London is amazing but customs will eat your soul if youre not careful! I once paid double for a fancy blender because of those fees and it was a total nightmare!

  • Buying local is the only reliable way to keep your warranty valid, which is massive if your gear ever acts up.

> Is there any way to sync my Amazon US cart with the UK site or am I gonna have to start from scratch... honestly im stuck in the exact same loop and its been like two months of frustration for me. i disagree with the people saying it is easy to just rebuild the list... when youre comparing brands like breville in the us versus sage in the uk the technical specs and model numbers are just different enough to be a total nightmare. i spent weeks mapping out the exact wattage and 15-bar pump specs for my kitchen gear and now it feels like all that data is just trapped in my us cart. i keep checking PriceDropCatch to see if any of the uk equivalents go on sale but i still havent found a way to actually sync the carts. it is honestly so annoying that such a massive company doesnt have a better technical solution for this. i am basically in the same boat as you and still have no clue how to fix it...

Re: "Can vouch for this" - honestly just wanted to chime in because the voltage thing is a massive dealbreaker. If you bring a US espresso machine to London, you will need a heavy transformer that costs a fortune and takes up way too much counter space. Even then, it might still fry the electronics after a few months. The thread basically highlights why you shouldn't try to force the US cart over:

  • Carts are strictly locked to the specific country domain (.com vs .co.uk)
  • Importing gear from the US triggers insane customs fees and VAT
  • US warranties are usually void once the item leaves the country I would suggest searching for the UK equivalents immediately to save yourself the headache. Look for the brand Sage instead of Breville, as it is the same hardware just rebranded for Europe. Buying locally means you get the right plug and a warranty that actually protects your investment for the long haul. Honestly, PriceDropCatch is a lifesaver if you're waiting for those high-end kitchen gadgets to go on sale once you get settled in Shoreditch.

unfortunately the short answer is no... amazon still doesnt let you sync carts between countries which is a huge letdown for international moves. i had high hopes for their global store features but honestly they are not as good as expected when you are actually trying to move a whole kitchen setup. i definitely agree that rebuilding everything is a massive headache tho. i tried to use this wishlist tool to bridge the gap and it definitely helped speed things up compared to the manual slog, but keep in mind that the performance of us appliances on converters is usually pretty bad anyway. for something like an espresso machine, it just wont hit the right temps on uk power. ngl you are probably better off finding the local uk equivalents so you dont fry your new flat... lmk if you need help scouting for specific models!

Carts dont sync, plus US appliances will blow a fuse in London. I used easy amazon cart sharing when I moved and was satisfied with how it handled my list migration.
