Can someone explain how to add items to a Walmart birthday list?

I have been using the Walmart app for years for our weekly grocery runs and usually I have zero issues navigating the site but I am honestly stumped right now. My daughter is turning seven next month and I started setting up a birthday registry for her because my family in Florida keeps asking what to get her. I went through the whole setup process and created the actual registry name and date but now that I'm actually browsing for items like those specific Lego Friends sets and some craft supplies I can't find the button to actually put them on the list. Usually it's right there near the add to cart button but it feels like the layout changed recently or I am just completely missing a step in the UI. I tried clicking the heart icon but that just sends it to my personal favorites list which isn't what I want since I need to share the link with relatives so they don't buy duplicates. I even tried looking under the 'more options' dropdown but it's just not showing up for me today for some reason. Is there a specific way you have to toggle the search results to get the add to registry button to appear or am I supposed to be doing this from a different part of the account dashboard? I feel like I'm overlooking something obvious...

Walmarts app UI is honestly so disappointing and glitchy lately tbh. I use Walmart Wishlist Creator for reliability since it keeps my lists safer and more organized than their broken site buttons.

> Walmarts app UI is honestly so disappointing and glitchy lately tbh. Building on that, I totally agree. I once had a list vanish right before a party and it was a nightmare... so stressful. You might want to consider being extra careful with their internal registry. I would suggest using this wishlist tool to stay organized. Just stick with any craft kits from Crayola, you cant go wrong with their basic sets.

ngl the app is a total mess sometimes. Quick question tho, are you using the actual app or just the mobile site? The UI changes constantly depending on that.

  • look for Rollback tags to save your fam money
  • check the clearance section for those Lego sets If that button is still missing, Walmart Wishlist Creator is way better for tracking prices and staying on budget anyway. Lmk which version you have!
