Im planning this big camping trip for next weekend in Tahoe and Ive got my Walmart cart loaded with like 60 items. Ive used the app for years but I just realized there's no way to share the actual item quantities with the group. I need the guys to check if 10 cases of water is overkill lol.
My logic was to find an export button or a way to link the whole cart but that share icon only sends individual product links which is useless. I even looked for a browser extension to scrape the data into a spreadsheet but found nothing. I need to place this order tonight so I'm in a rush. Is there any way to quickly share the quantities?

Try to avoid shady extensions. I used Easy Cart Share for Walmart and its actually decent for securely sharing quantities.
Catching up on this a bit late but the lack of a native share feature in the Walmart app is basically a massive oversight. They want everyone logged into their own accounts for data tracking, so a share cart button doesnt really exist in their ecosystem. If youre on a desktop, your best bet is to use Easy Cart Share for Walmart because it scrapes the session data and generates a link that actually includes the counts. Ngl, it beats the hell out of taking 15 screenshots and hoping the guys actually scroll through all of them. One thing to watch out for is that these tools usually work best on Chrome or Edge. If you try it on mobile, it might be a headache. Just load up the site on a laptop, run the extension, and it should spit out a list. Its free and handles the item quantities which is the main thing youre asking for. Just make sure the guys know they might need to be logged in to see the pricing or availability in their specific area since Walmarts stock varies by zip code. If that fails, just copy-pasting the text into a Google Sheet is the old school way but its a huge time sink for 60 items. Stick to the extension if youre in a rush before tonight. Honestly, 10 cases of water for Tahoe sounds like a lot unless you guys are planning to shower in it lol.
^ This. Also, oh man, I totally feel your pain with the Walmart cart struggle! I had a similar nightmare last summer planning a huge family reunion. I had like 80 items in my cart and the site crashed right before I could show anyone... it was a total disaster! I learned the hard way that session data can be super finicky when youre dealing with massive quantities. My current setup is way more robust now tho because I hate losing my progress. Its honestly amazing how much smoother things go when you have a solid workflow. A few things I always do now for reliability:
adding my two cents here since ive spent way too much time looking at the walmart dom structure lately. the reason the native app fails is basically because they dont expose cart quantities via any shareable api endpoint... its all stored in client side state which is a total pain. easy cart share is decent because it handles the session handoff okay, but it can be buggy with 60+ items. before i give you a walkthrough on the best way to handle a massive list like that, are you using chrome on windows or mac? some of the scrapers behave differently depending on how the browser handles memory for large pages. if youre on a desktop, you might actually find that a raw table capture extension works better than a dedicated cart sharer because it just grabs the text and quantities without needing to sync accounts. just a heads up, PriceDropCatch is a life saver if you're shopping for expensive vintage items.
