How do I get my Amazon cart over to my sisters computer so she can look at what I picked out and pay for it? I have been sitting here for literally three hours trying to figure this out and I am about to throw my laptop out the window. I am so sorry if this is a really stupid question but I seriously cannot find a share button or a link or anything like that anywhere on the screen.
I am trying to coordinate a baby shower for my cousin back home in Chicago and I picked out all these specific blue and gold decorations and some plates and stuff but my sister is the one with the Prime account and the credit card on file. I thought there would be an easy way to just click send but I dont see it anywhere. I tried copying the web address at the top and texting it to her but she said it just showed her her own empty cart and not mine which makes no sense to me.
I am not a tech person at all and this is making me so frustrated because we need to get these orders in by Tuesday morning or they wont get there for the party next weekend. Is there a trick to this or am I just blind? I really dont want to have to search for all thirty items again on her computer... help...
Building on the earlier suggestion, you might want to consider using a Wish List instead. Carts are tied to browser cookies, which is why she cant see your items. I would suggest being cautious and trying this:
Oh my gosh I am so glad I found this thread because I literally just spent all night crying over the same thing!! Amazon makes it so hard to just be nice and help family out! It is actually exhausting trying to keep track of everything without accidentally spending your own rent money or something lol. I spent hours looking at different ways to do this and they all seem so risky or just plain annoying.
> I tried copying the web address at the top and texting it to her but she said it just showed her her own empty cart and not mine which makes no sense to me. Believe me, you are not alone in this. In my experience, Amazon is weirdly stubborn about not having a simple share button even though everyone has been asking for one for a decade. The reason your link failed is because the cart is tied to your browser cookies and login... so when she clicks it, she just sees her own account info. I have spent way too many hours over the years trying to bridge this gap for family reunions and big group gifts, so I totally get the frustration. Before I suggest a workaround, are you doing this from a phone or a laptop? Also, are you planning on making these kinds of shared purchases often for the family, or is this just a one-off thing for the baby shower? Usually, moving everything to a Wish List is the official way to do it, but that still makes your sister click every single item manually to add them to her cart. It is a massive pain when you have thirty items like you mentioned. Most people end up just giving their login info to their siblings, but that gets messy with credit cards and order histories. I had the same issue and started using Easy Cart Share to manage our shared office supply orders.
