Need a 30th gift by next Saturday in London and I'm panicking. I looked at Cartier rings but it feels too engagement-y and spa days just end. I have £1,500 and need:
What actually feels meaningful for a milestone?
Adding my two cents here! I went through this exact panic and ended up getting a heavy solid gold bangle. Not the thin flimsy ones, but something with a proper weight to it. Honestly, I love it because it feels so permanent! The main thing I learned is to look at the actual gold weight and the hallmark details. Some of those big fashion houses sell stuff that is basically hollow inside and it feels cheap once the novelty wears off... total rip off. I made sure mine was 18k solid gold. It feels amazing to wear and has that nice clink when it hits a desk lol. Its classy, definitely not boring, and way more meaningful than a voucher. Plus you can get something really unique in London if you hit the right spots. Definitely go for weight over brand name!
Exactly what I was thinking
Honestly, vintage gold is amazing! I bought a 1920s gold locket for my wife and she loved it. Ngl, check this site for some fantastic ideas before Saturday!
