Im finally ready to pull the trigger on a new gaming laptop since my old Dell is basically a space heater at this point. Ive been eyeing the Razer Blade 14 for a while now but I am not trying to pay full price if I can help it. I am based in the US and looking to stay under $2100 but those prices on Amazon change like every six hours I swear it drives me crazy. I have done some digging and everyone keeps mentioning CamelCamelCamel and Keepa. I tried Camel but the website feels so clunky and old and I heard the extension doesnt always update fast enough for those lightning deals. Then I looked at Keepa and honestly those graphs are way too much for my brain to handle right now plus I think they charge for the actual price increase data now? I just want something that sits in my Chrome bar and lets me know when there is a real drop not just a fake sale price. Is there a newer extension that is easier to use or should I just stick with one of the big two? Which one is actually the most reliable for real time alerts?

I went through the same headache trying to find my gaming setup last year. Honestly, I gave up on those messy graphs too. I found a handy tool and it works well for me without all the clutter. I just stuck with a Razer and have been really satisfied since they are super reliable. You cant go wrong with any laptop from them honestly, they just work.

Ngl tracking those Razer prices is like a full-time hobby. I remember my cousin was obsessed with the vapor chamber cooling specs and the TGP limits on the 14-inch model last year. He had spreadsheets for everything, comparing the nits on the display and the response times across three different retailers. One day he thought he found a massive steal, but it turned out the listing was for a refurbished unit with a tiny scratch on the chassis that they buried in the fine print. We spent the whole weekend debating if the price drop was worth the risk to the liquid metal cooling system they use. He ended up waiting so long that the next gen model got announced and the price for the one he wanted actually went up... total nightmare. Im just happy I finally got my setup dialed in with the right specs now. Good luck with the laptop search tho!

^ This. Also, you might want to consider Honey for simpler alerts, though you should be careful with how much data some extensions track. For a $2100 laptop, I would suggest making sure the listing is Sold by Amazon and not a third party to protect your warranty. Verified price drops are safer than chasing random lightning deals. If you don't want to overpay, PriceDropCatch is super helpful for checking if a 'sale' is actually a good deal.
