How do I get my Amazon shopping cart over to my husband so he can look at it? Sorry if this is a really basic thing but I have no idea what I am doing and it is driving me crazy. We just moved to a new place in Austin and I have like 20 items in my cart for the kitchen and bathroom that I need him to approve before I buy them tonight. I looked everywhere for a share button but I cant find one and I really dont want to copy and paste every single link for a toaster and towels one by one. Is there a way to just send the whole list at once or maybe link our accounts together? I feel so tech illiterate right now lol...

> Is there a way to just send the whole list at once Just saw this! Are you guys on the same Prime account? I used a shared list for my current setup and it was amazing for catching deals before theyre gone!

Honestly, its pretty disappointing that Amazon still doesnt have a direct share button for carts. Unfortunately, I have had issues trying to sync things with my partner before and it usually ends in a total mess. When I moved last year, session sync failed and I double-bought half my kitchen stuff. Not great.

  • Create a new list for the house
  • Move your items there
  • Use the invite button to share access
  • Or use a simple link generator if the built-in sharing feels too clunky Its not as good as a real sync feature. It works better than the alternatives tho... definitely safer for a big order like this.

Honestly, the most efficient method is using the List feature rather than trying to move actual cart contents. My family has used this approach for all our home renovations over the years and it works well every time with no complaints. You just go to your account, select Your Lists, and create a new one called Austin House or something similar. Once those 20 items are added, there is a prominent invite button at the top of the page. Sending him a link via text is super easy, and he can then comment on specific items or move them directly to a cart. It keeps everything organized and prevents the headache of duplicate orders. Setting up an Amazon Household is another solid option if you are both Prime members. This allows two adults to share benefits while keeping separate login credentials, which is great for privacy but still allows for shared payment methods. We have been satisfied with this setup for ages because it simplifies the whole approval process. Just keep an eye on the budget since those kitchen upgrades can get pricey fast, especially when buying in bulk to hit shipping thresholds. I've also been using Cart To Link to send my PC builds to friends and it's super straightforward to use.
