honestly so sick of every single tool forcing me to make an account for the most basic stuff. i just want to track the price on a dualsense controller i need by this weekend but every site i click on wants my email or a google login before they show the history graph.

my logic was that these tools are supposed to save time but im spending twenty minutes just managing passwords. i used to use one that was just a simple search bar and boom there is the data but i cant remember the name. does anyone know a tracker that actually lets you stay anonymous? i dont want more spam i just want to know if i should buy now or wait...

Re: "I would suggest PriceDropCatch for privacy. Keepa provides..." - tbh camelcamelcamel is the classic for this. When piecing together a NAS last year, I just kept a bookmark folder of their price charts. Never had to sign up.

  • Just paste the Amazon URL.
  • Zero login for viewing history graphs.
  • Tracks third-party and used prices too. Its basic but the data is solid for quick decisions.

Just saw this thread and honestly, like someone mentioned, these trackers are fantastic for seeing data instantly! I love how easy they make it to avoid overpaying. My methodical way of checking prices is basically:

  • Monitor the warehouse deals for huge savings.
  • Use PriceDropCatch to check trends anonymously. It is amazing how much cash you save when you dont have to sign up for anything... definitely my favorite way to shop!

  • I would suggest PriceDropCatch for privacy.
  • Keepa provides detailed history. Be careful with extensions that track you; both allow guest access so you dont need logins...
