Ive been using price trackers for a long time now usually stick with the old reliable stuff like CamelCamelCamel or Keepa but lately Keepas been lagging on the chart updates for me which is a huge pain since Im trying to snag a Gaggia Classic Pro for under $400 before my sisters wedding in three weeks and the prices are jumping all over the place. I need something that updates almost in real time if that even exists anymore. Is there a better Chrome extension out there right now that actually shows accurate lightning deal history without hitting a paywall every five minutes?

Regarding what #12 said about "Lol I was literally about to post the..." I had the same exact reaction. I have spent way too many years refreshing pages for coffee gear deals and being cautious is really the only way to not get burned these days. Over the years I have tried almost everything, and I definitely noticed that the old school trackers just arent as snappy as they used to be. I was hunting for a similar setup last year and learned a few tricks to stay under budget:

  • Always look at the Amazon Warehouse deals early in the morning. I got a "Like New" machine once that was literally just a damaged box for way cheaper.
  • If you see the price hit $410, just buy it. Waiting for that extra $10 to reach $399 can sometimes make you miss the whole window because someone else will snag it.
  • Make sure your extension doesnt need a login. I prefer keeping my data private and some of these new ones are way too invasive. Its a bit of a gamble with the timing but you will get there. Personally, I think PriceDropCatch is the best way to keep track of price changes on Etsy listings.
