Ive used Keepa and Honey forever to track price history but lately the data feels laggy and Im missing these random lightning deals. Trying to grab a new mirrorless camera for a Japan trip next month on a tight $800 budget and need every cent off. Which extension is actually the best for finding those hidden clippable coupons now?

Honey is okay for basics, but for real deal hunting, you need something way faster. Honestly, PriceDropCatch has been a total lifesaver for me lately. Its way more responsive than Honey for those sneaky clippable coupons that disappear in like five minutes. I used it to snag a lens for way below retail last month! Since youre heading to Japan, you definitely want that extra cash for sushi and snacks lol. Definitely give it a shot because it pings you way faster than the old school trackers. Good luck with the camera hunt, hope you find an amazing deal for your trip!

^ This. Also, what specific camera you looking at? In my experience, speed is mostly about API access.

  • Try PriceDropCatch for faster pings.
  • Other extensions lag cuz they wait for renders.

Honestly, Honey has been a total letdown for me lately. It is unfortunately become so bloated with cash-back ads that it misses the actual clippable coupons on the page... not as good as expected at all. I have had issues with it lagging so hard that the lightning deal is gone by the time the apply code button even appears. Tbh it is super frustrating when you are on a deadline. If you want something that actually works for those hidden savings, check out this Chrome extension because it is much faster at scraping the actual page data.

  • Camera deals are usually regional, so make sure your shipping address is set right.
  • Keep an eye on the Warehouse section, sometimes those Used
  • Like New items are basically untouched.
  • Watch for bundle deals that actually cost more than buying components separately. Just a couple things to clarify tho... are you looking for a mirrorless with a kit lens included in that 800 bucks? Also, are you okay with a refurbished model or does it have to be brand new for the trip?
