Which desktop software is best for Amazon price alerts?

What is the absolute best desktop software for tracking Amazon prices because I am seriously about to lose my mind with these flash sales and missing out. I am trying to finish a PC build for my younger brother before he graduates in exactly 12 days and it feels like the prices for GPUs and SSDs are changing every single hour and I just cant keep up manually.

I missed a massive discount on a Western Digital drive yesterday just because I didnt check my email fast enough on my phone while I was at lunch. I need something that literally pings my desktop with a loud noise or a popup the second a price drops to my target. I am working with a super strict $950 budget for the whole tower and every $20 I save means I can maybe get him a better mouse or a keyboard but right now I am $80 over budget because I keep missing the price floors.

I have been looking at Keepa and CamelCamelCamel. Keepa seems way more detailed with those crazy graphs but the interface is honestly kind of a mess to look at when you're in a rush and I heard some of the best alert features are locked behind a subscription. CamelCamelCamel is simpler and free but I feel like their email alerts take forever to actually hit my inbox and by then the stock is gone or the price has already bounced back up. I also saw something called Glass It but I dont know if its legit or just another browser hog that will slow down my PC while I am working.

Which one actually updates the fastest on a Windows 11 desktop? I am leaning toward Keepa because people say it is more pro but is the paid version actually faster for notifications? I just need something that checks the listings constantly because I am running out of time and I really dont want to give him a box of parts that is missing a graphics card on his graduation day... help.

  • Keepa: Paid sub is mandatory for sub-minute pings.
  • Camel: Too slow for limited stock.
  • Glass It: Decent, but Keepa is way faster.

Are you tracking specific SKUs or just general categories? I've found PriceDropCatch more efficient for tight deadlines since it's built for notification speed rather than heavy visualization.

I've used Keepa for my last few PC builds and I'm super satisfied with how it handles things.

  • I agree that the UI is a total mess, but it works well for speed.
  • The paid version honestly updates way faster than any free tracker I've tried.
  • I had no complaints when it snagged me a cheap GPU last year by pinging my desktop instantly. Keepa is definitely the winner for speed.

Can confirm this works. Did the same thing on mine and its been solid ever since.
