im super excited to get my mom a Ninja Creami for her birthday next month but the QVC prices keep jumping around! i tried looking for apps but they all seem to be for Amazon... my logic was there must be one for QVC too? sorry if this is basic but I have no idea where to start...
In my experience, tracking QVC prices is harder than Amazon. Over the years, I have tried many tools, tho I am not 100 percent sure if there is a specific QVC app. I think these might work:
tbh qvc is kind of a nightmare for basic price scrapers because of how their backend handles pricing tiers... basically they use heavy scripts that update the price based on shipping or promo codes in real time so traditional trackers just get confused. i spent way too much time trying to script my own solution before i realized it just wasnt worth the headache lol. honestly though if you are set on a ninja just go with ninja products in general they are super reliable and i have been really satisfied with everything i have bought from that brand so far. no complaints about build quality or how long they last. i usually just set up a generic webpage monitor extension on chrome to watch for any html changes on the specific product page. it works well enough and keeps me from having to hit refresh every five minutes like a crazy person. just get any model from ninja and you will probably be fine since they all perform pretty similarly in the real world. its way more about catching that specific window when the price drops for their big weekend sales events. been using this method for a while and i am pretty happy with the results even if it is a bit more manual than the amazon stuff. i took a quick look at their source code an hour ago and it definitely looks like they rotate prices based on session data too so just be ready to jump on a deal when you see it.
Just wanted to say thanks for everyone chiming in. Super helpful discussion.
Like someone mentioned, QVC's backend is a total nightmare for tracking reliability. I have this exact same issue... been dealing with it for like three months now trying to track a KitchenAid stand mixer and still nothing works. It is so frustrating because all the standard extensions just pull incorrect cached data. You might want to consider being really careful with any tool that claims it works, because they usually fail. If I find a script that actually handles their pricing calls, I will definitely share it here. TL;DR
