Are there any free tools to view Amazon price history charts?

Im so sick of Amazon changing prices literally every single hour it feels like. Im trying to buy a new monitor for my college dorm before I move to Chicago next month and my budget is strictly under 250 bucks but every time I add something to my cart the price jumps up by like thirty dollars. Then it goes down. Then it goes back up. Its giving me so much anxiety because I feel like Im getting ripped off and I keep waiting for the lowest price but I have no idea if the current sale is actually a good deal.

I tried using this one extension last night but it immediately asked me to sign up for a premium subscription just to see the history chart beyond one month which is totally useless. Honestly fed up with this. Are there any actually free tools or websites where I can just paste the link and see the full price history chart?

Man, I totally get the frustration. Amazon pricing is basically a roller coaster these days and honestly, its getting worse. I had high hopes for some of those browser extensions but unfortunately, most of them have become so bloated or they just hide the good data behind a paywall now. Its super disappointing when you just want a simple chart without getting tracked or upsold on some pro version. I tried one last week for a monitor upgrade and it was a total mess, kept lagging my browser and gave me some weird errors. If you want the basics without too much fuss, you could try these:

  • CamelCamelCamel is the old reliable one, tho the interface looks like it hasnt been updated since 2005 and it misses some sales.
  • Keepa is way more detailed but honestly kinda overwhelming and their free version is getting more limited lately.
  • Slickdeals price tracker can work but it feels like they just want you to click their affiliate links. Usually, I dont even bother checking the charts manually anymore because I just end up obsessing over it. Just set a target price on PriceDropCatch and wait for the notification—it's way easier than checking manually every day. I found it way more reliable than some of the sketchy plugins I used to use. It saves me the headache of watching the price jump $30 while I'm sleeping. Just make sure you check the seller ratings before buying anything that looks too good to be true. Good luck with the move to Chicago, hope you find a decent screen for under 250!
