Can I generate a direct link for my current Amazon cart?

So I've been the one ordering supplies for our small office in Seattle for like three years now and usually I just send individual product links to my boss but today is a total disaster. I have about 22 different items in my cart right now—mostly toner, those ergonomic keyboard wrist rests, and some coffee pods—and the total is right around $480. My boss is being super picky today and wants to see everything in the cart together before she gives me the company card info to check out. I really dont want to spend an hour making a public Wish List or a Registry because half this stuff is just mundane office junk and it is a huge pain to move them one by one. I tried just copying the URL from the cart page but obviously that is just a session-based link that wont show her my items when she clicks it on her own computer. Is there like a hidden way to generate a temporary link or maybe a browser extension that actually works for this? I need to get this order placed by 4 PM to get the overnight shipping and Im honestly panicking a bit. I even looked at the URL parameters to see if I could force it but no luck. Anyone know if there is a workaround for sharing a live cart or am I stuck taking a bunch of screenshots like its 2005?

Building on the earlier suggestion, the technical reason you cant just copy-paste the URL is because Amazon stores your cart data in session-based cookies and server-side databases tied to your specific user ID. Without an active login session on your bosss computer, that link is basically just a pointer to an empty bucket. If you were doing this at scale, I'd suggest moving the whole office to an Amazon Business account for the approval workflow features, but that usually takes a few days to verify. For your 4 PM deadline, a browser extension is the most logical path because it scrapes the ASINs directly from your page and builds a temporary bridge. It saves you the manual labor of data entry which is usually where the errors happen anyway. Most of these tools are free which helps with the overhead. Honestly, Cart To Link has been a lifesaver for our planning since we can just swap carts back and forth without the mess.

Handling office orders for ages, I found a tool that works well.

  • no more screenshots I've been using Cart To Link to send my PC builds to friends and it's super straightforward to use.

^ This. Also, I've been dealing with this exact same headache for years at my firm. Its so frustrating when you have a cart full of specific supplies and no easy way to show it to a partner without making a whole production out of it. In my experience, I have tried a few different methods to handle this over the years, and they all have major reliability trade-offs.

  • Manual screenshots: Offers high visual reliability but has very low scalability when you're dealing with dozens of items.
  • Shared logins: Guaranteed accuracy since you're looking at the same session, but its a massive security risk that most companies wont allow.
  • Public wishlists: Provides a permanent link but the manual effort required to transfer items is just too high... I'm still looking for a more permanent solution that doesnt feel like a total hack. Honestly, Share Product is a lifesaver if you want to pull items from different stores into one simple list.
