So my brothers getting me some stuff for my new apartment since I’m broke and he’s got a huge budget for my housewarming gift like $400 worth of kitchen stuff. I spent hours picking out specifically what I need and its all sitting in my cart but now I realize there's no easy button to just send the whole cart to him. I checked online and people say use a Wish List but that seems like extra steps for things already in my cart and I heard you have to set them to public which I dont want. Then I saw Amazon Household mentioned but we live in different states so that wont work right? Im just getting so annoyed honestly. Is there any way to just share the cart without giving him my actual password?

tbh be careful with third-party tools because i once tried a random cart-sharing extension and it totally messed up my browser settings... was so annoyed. i would suggest using the official wish list route but set it to shared instead of public.

  • click move to wishlist on every item
  • set privacy to shared
  • text him the link it takes like five mins but honestly keeps your account way safer than handing over your actual password.

Ugh, definitely dont give him your password! That is super risky for your private info. This amazing tool called Cart To Link extension works wonders. It basically turns your cart into a shareable list in seconds!!

  • saves tons of time
  • keeps your account safe I love it because you dont have to move everything to a public wishlist which is such a pain!

If you are worried about security you might want to consider just doing it the manual way to be safe. Most third-party extensions ask for way too much access to your browser data. This can lead to serious security headaches. I would suggest being extremely careful with any tool that isnt from a verified developer. To keep your account secure you should:

  • copy the product titles into a shared doc
  • send him the direct urls via text
  • check that your default address isnt visible in any screenshots you send Doing it yourself takes a few extra minutes. Its better than risking your session cookies though. Be careful about anything that wants you to log in through their own interface instead of the official site... its just not worth the risk. Btw I use PriceDropCatch for this and it works great for snagging deals before they sell out.
