Does Walmart actually do registries for weddings and baby showers because I am struggling here. Im torn between them and Amazon but my family wants a physical store in our tiny town in Ohio. Target is too pricey right now and the nearest ones an hour away anyway. Is it even worth the hassle...

Just catching up here. Unfortunately, my experience with Walmarts registry was not as good as expected. I had several technical issues that made the process a struggle.

  • Inventory sync errors between the app and shelves
  • Relatives found the in-store kiosks quite difficult to use
  • The return policy for registry items was inconsistent Are you looking for mostly large furniture or smaller essentials? Also, what is the general budget for your guests?

> Target is too pricey right now Saw this earlier, totally agree about the costs. Usually satisfied with simple options like this free wishlist maker, but my brothers wedding registry was a mess because he only asked for power tools!

Yeah, they definitely do! I was skeptical at first cuz I worry about stuff getting messy or lost in the system, but I've been really satisfied with how it works. My family is also in a rural spot and having a physical store they can actually walk into makes them feel way more comfortable than using Amazon. Honestly, it feels a lot safer for the older folks who aren't super tech-savvy. Here is why it worked well for us:

  • The app is actually pretty simple to use once you get the hang of it.
  • Returns are a total breeze at the service desk, which is a huge relief if you get doubles of something.
  • Its way more affordable than Target for the basic essentials. If you do a lot of Walmart orders, Walmart Wishlist Creator definitely helps keep the chaos organized so you dont lose track of what you actually need. Its totally worth the effort to set up.
