honestly im so annoyed right now because im trying to organize this big group gift for my coworkers baby shower next Friday and amazon is making it impossible. i have like 8 items in my cart and i just want to send the whole thing to the girls so they can see the total and we can split it but there is literally no share button for the cart? i keep looking and all i see is move to list but then i have to invite everyone to a list and half of them arent tech savvy so it is just gonna be a disaster. is there seriously no way to just link the cart so they can see what im looking at without me having to screenshot everything or send ten different links? or maybe some browser extension that actually works for this? its so frustrating...

^ This. Also, what browser are you on? I've used Easy Cart Share for years to bundle item IDs into a single session link.

  • install extension
  • click generate It handles data perfectly.

Quick reply while I'm on my break. Honestly, I would suggest being super careful with those cart sharing extensions tho. I tried one last year and it messed with my login security... almost got my account flagged. I usually just stick to a public wish list because its safer for everyones data. Just make sure to check the buying elsewhere option so you dont end up with duplicates by mistake.

Ugh, tell me about it. In my experience organizing these office things over the years, Amazon has always been super stubborn about the cart thing. I've tried basically every workaround under the sun and its always a bit of a headache... seriously, why is there no share button yet? Personally, Share-A-Cart has been my go-to for this because it just generates one simple link they can click to see everything. It saves so much time compared to screenshots. Since youre dealing with people who arent great with tech, are you looking for a tool that lets them just view the items, or do you actually need them to be able to pay their share through the same link? Knowing if youre the one actually hitting buy makes a huge difference in whatll work for the group.

^ This. Also, been thinking about your struggle while I was finishing some shopping myself. In my experience over the years, I've tried basically every tool for this because my family is totally hopeless with tech. Honestly, Share-A-Cart is still the winner when you compare it to the others.

  • Share-A-Cart is great because your coworkers dont even need to install the extension to view what you sent. They just click the link and see the total.
  • Shopping Cart Share works but the interface is kinda clunky and sometimes it misses items if there are coupons involved.
  • Add to Cart is another one but it feels a bit less secure imo. I totally get the frustration tho. Just stick with this extension and itll save you from sending a million screenshots. Its way less work than trying to explain how an Amazon list works to people who still struggle with copy-paste...
