I've been trying to help my mom out with her weekly grocery shopping because she's getting older and the Walmart website is honestly a bit of a nightmare for her to navigate lately. She lives down in Florida and I'm up here in New York, so usually I just pick everything out for her but the huge bottleneck is actually getting those items into HER cart so she can use her own credit card and her Walmart+ membership for the free delivery. I don't really want to stay logged into her account on my laptop 24/7 and she definitely isn't tech-savvy enough to manually find 30 different items from a list I text her.
I did some digging and I saw people talking about this Share-A-Cart browser extension. I read that it's pretty popular but then some other people were saying it can be buggy with the Walmart site specifically or that it might have privacy issues since it's a third-party thing. I also tried just copying the URL of my cart page and emailing it to her, but of course that didn't work... it just showed her a blank cart because the items are tied to my browser cookies or whatever.
Here is what I'm trying to figure out:
Is there some kind of built-in collaborative shopping feature I'm just totally missing? I thought about making a registry or a wish list but I'm not sure if she can just add all to her cart from there without it being a whole process. I'm really trying to get this sorted before her usual 8pm delivery window tonight so I don't have to spend two hours on FaceTime reading out product names while she types them in... any ideas?
