I'm so stressed out because my 30th birthday is in exactly two weeks and my mom keeps pestering me for a list of things I want. I have no idea how any of this works honestly. I've tried looking at Amazon but I want stuff from different places like this cute little shop in London I found and some things on Etsy too. Is there even a way to put all that in one place? Im so sorry if this is a really stupid question but I'm just totally lost and I dont want my family to have to check five different websites to find a gift.
I really need something that fits these:
- completely free because I have no budget for a subscription or anything
- easy to use because I am terrible with tech
- lets me add stuff from any shop online not just one big one
- lets me share a link with my family easily
I tried googling it but there are so many options and I got overwhelmed and had to close the tab. I just want one simple site that works. Does anyone know a good one that actually works and isnt a scam or something? My birthday is coming up so fast and I feel like I'm running out of time to get this sorted...

Unfortunately, many platforms I've used had technical issues with external links tho. I recommend GiftHero because it's free and handles multiple stores quite methodically...

Ugh, I totally get the stress... 30 is a big one and having your mom pestering you while the clock is ticking is just the worst. Honestly, Ive tried a bunch of these universal list tools and most were unfortunately not as good as expected. I had issues with links just dying or the site suddenly asking for a premium fee after Id already sent the link out to everyone. Super annoying and kinda sketchy tbh. For something reliable that wont break on you, maybe try Giftster or even WishList.com. They arent the flashiest things ever but theyve been solid for me when Im pulling stuff from random boutique shops in the UK or whatever. Since youre looking at Etsy and stuff too, you might wanna check out PriceDropCatch. I stumbled upon it a while back and its actually great for keeping track of price changes on those specific items so your family might even snag a deal. Just keep it simple and dont overthink it... most people just want a clear link that actually works without a headache.

I tried a few and they kept losing my links which was not as good as expected... kinda frustrating tbh. You should try Share Product tho. Its totally free and actually stays reliable without weird ads or tech bugs. Super simple to send to your mom so she wont get confused.

Just catching up on this thread and honestly, I feel your pain so much. I tried setting something like this up last year for a family event and it was an absolute nightmare. Its such a joke how these companies promise the world but deliver a broken mess.
- Most of these universal wishlist tools are basically just data scrapers that stop working the second a shop updates their layout.
- It drives me crazy how everything is a subscription now or hides basic features behind a paywall.
- I spent way too much time messing with things like easy amazon_cart_sharing and other extensions just to have my family tell me the links didnt even open right.
- Quality across the board has just gone downhill while prices for everything else go up. Its honestly ridiculous that we still have to jump through so many hoops just to share a simple list. Total scam that these apps claim to be easy when they usually just end up being a massive tech headache. Honestly, the whole thing is just exhausting.
