OMG okay so my brother and I are finally doing this big camping trip in the Ozarks next weekend and I am literally so hyped but the grocery list is massive!! I was looking at how to actually get him to see what I put in the Walmart cart so he can add his snacks without me doing it all... my logic was either using that Share-A-Cart extension everyone talks about or just biting the bullet and giving him my password but i really dont want my credit card info just sitting there on his phone lol. Is there like a built-in share button I'm missing? I need to get this ordered by tomorrow night to get the pickup slot so which way is actually faster or is there a better app for this?

In my experience, Walmart still lacks a native collab feature for active carts. Ive tried many workarounds over the years and honestly, using the Share-A-Cart extension is the technical winner. It uses a simple code-based transfer system so you dont have to hand over sensitive login data or passwords. Its way more secure than sharing your account credentials directly. I highly recommend that route.

@Reply #1 - good point! Unfortunately, Walmart is still basically in the stone age with this stuff. I had so many issues trying to coordinate a huge lake trip last year... thought I had everything set up but the cart just wouldnt sync right and we ended up double-buying half the snacks. Total waste of cash. Not as good as expected for such a huge company. Quick question tho, are you guys both gonna be on the mobile app or are you using a desktop? Some of these tools are super finicky depending on the device. I eventually just switched to using Easy Cart Share for Walmart for my current setup because I got tired of the constant glitches with other methods. TL;DR: Walmart doesnt have a built-in button so dont go looking for one. Use a dedicated tool so you dont have to risk your password or credit card info.

Been thinking about this and I agree that giving out your login is a bad move. Safety first. If that extension isnt your thing, just use a shared list app instead. Go with AnyList, you cant go wrong with that brand. It keeps your personal details totally separate while you both add stuff. Decent option and basically ensures your credit card stays private.
