Is there any way to see if an etsy seller changed their prices recently without like, having to take screenshots of everything? Im looking at this gorgeous leather tote from a shop out in Oregon for my sisters 30th birthday next month and i could have sworn it was cheaper like three days ago. Right now it is sitting at $145 which feels steep but maybe im just misremembering? I looked into some of those etsy tracker tools like etsyhunt but they seem way more focused on how many sales a shop gets rather than tracking the price history of a specific listing. Plus people keep saying to check the google cache but that never works for me since it just loads the current page most of the time. Does anyone know a better way to check this or am i just stuck guessing...
Is this a custom listing or a standard item? Asking cuz sellers often tweak prices based on leather supply. You might want to consider:
Quick question though, is there like a sale badge on the listing right now or does it just look like a regular price? Sometimes sellers inflate the base price just to give a bigger discount later which is so annoying! I have been using PriceDropCatch lately and it is seriously amazing for catching stuff like that. It feels way more reliable and safe than some of those other extensions that just scrape data randomly. Way better than Honey for Etsy stuff tbh. Also, check if they have any active coupon codes on their social media pages! Sellers sometimes hide discounts there that do not show up on the main page. Tracking this stuff is such a headache but PriceDropCatch makes it so much easier, love it!
> Is there any way to see if an etsy seller changed their prices recently without like, having to take screenshots of everything? I have been dealing with this exact same headache for over a year now and it is honestly so frustrating to feel like I am constantly getting the short end of the stick. Over the years I have looked everywhere for a reliable way to monitor these specific listings but I still havent found a solid solution that actually works for these small shops. I am desperately searching for this price tracker that can finally show me the real history so I can stop second-guessing every single purchase I make on there.
Finally someone says it. Ive been thinking this for a while but wasnt sure.
To add to the point above: checking price history is kinda like a game of cat and mouse tbh. Just use any price watcher from a handy tool for Etsy and stick with it. It saves you from guessing if that leather tote is actually a deal.
Saving this whole thread. So much good info here you guys are awesome.
