Im torn between the $40 Mainstays air mattress and the $70 Intex one for my guest room next week. Budget is tight and I need to watch for price drops. Should I use the save for later feature or a wish list? How do I actually save these to a list for later?...

  • Click the heart icon to use a wish list.
  • Access them later in your account. Im satisfied with how this works well for tracking prices reliably.

  • Open the $70 Intex page.
  • Hit Add to List near the cart.
  • Use Walmart Wishlist Creator to track specs. Its way more reliable for watching price deltas over time.

@Reply #3 - good point! Tracking price deltas through external tools is the most reliable way to handle these purchases. I’ve been quite satisfied with the data consistency lately, which is vital when youre managing a strict budget and need to ensure the technical specs meet your guests needs.

  • honestly just search for walmart list tutorial on youtube and its the first result
  • the official help pages have a full guide if you just google it
  • i saw a video on this recently that shows exactly where the buttons are now so just look that up

No way, I literally just dealt with this yesterday. Small world.

^ This. Also, I have been really satisfied with using the notification settings in the mobile app. It works well and I have no complaints about the accuracy when stuff goes on clearance.

  • Turn on the price alert toggle in your account communication preferences.
  • Keep the item in a specific list rather than just the cart because the cart sometimes clears out after a few weeks. I actually DIYed a plywood base for my Intex mattress to keep it off the floor and it feels much more like a real bed now. Guests were happy with the setup last time. Good luck catching that price drop!

I was so worried about guest beds popping but that Intex one is fantastic! Last year I spent forever watching the prices. Honestly, this Chrome extension made it so much easier to see when the price dropped below $60. The Mainstays one is okay but feels a bit thin tbh... just move the Intex to your cart and hit save for later for the safest bet!
