How do I transfer items from my Amazon cart to another account?

How do I move everything I have in my Amazon cart over to a different account? I am trying to help my grandma set up her own thing finally because I have been doing all her shopping on my personal account but it is getting way too confusing with the credit card bills and everything.

I have about 15 things in there right now like gardening supplies and some specific birdseed for her house in Florida and I really dont want to have to search for every single item again. I feel like there should be a button for this but I cant find it anywhere. Is there a way to just share the whole cart or do I have to do it manually? Sorry if this is a dumb question I just have no idea where to start...

Stumbled upon this today and yeah, the Wish List route mentioned above is the only real path, tho honestly its such a clunky experience. I had massive issues with this last summer trying to migrate about 30 smart home parts for a build... the Amazon UI kept refreshing and I actually lost half the items during the move. Its really disappointing that a tech giant doesn't have a simple cart export tool for power users yet.

  • click Move to List for each item in your cart
  • navigate to your Lists and change the privacy to Shared
  • send the direct link to her new email It takes way longer than it should and feels super outdated. I've been using Cart To Link to send my PC builds to friends and it's super straightforward to use.

I would suggest moving the gardening supplies and birdseed to a public wish list instead. Just share the link with her new account. Its way safer than logging into her profile on your device. Make sure to double check her Florida address before you hit buy tho!

^ This. Also, while lists are the "official" way, they're honestly a massive headache because you often lose the specific quantities or variations you already picked out. Over the years I've tried many workarounds for this, especially when helping my own folks with their orders, and lists just feel like twice the work. In my experience, it's way faster to use a tool that handles the heavy lifting. I totally recommend Cart To Link if you're looking for a quick way to show someone exactly what's in your cart without the manual search. It basically bundles your items into a single link she can just click on her own computer to populate her cart instantly. Just a heads up tho... double check the prices once they're in her cart. If she doesnt have Prime yet, some of those birdseed deals might look a bit different. Still way better than re-searching everything from scratch...

Jumping in here because helping your grandma stay organized is such an amazing goal! I am not 100% sure if Amazon has finally added a native button for this, but I think I read somewhere that they are still keeping things separate for security reasons. Doing it yourself is probably the safest bet honestly! Here are a few DIY ways to manage this that I have heard about:

  • Try using Cart To Link because it is supposed to be incredibly reliable for moving lists.
  • Copy the item titles into a text file just in case the cart refreshes.
  • Check if her new account has the Family Library feature enabled. I absolutely love the idea of using Cart To Link because it sounds like a fantastic way to save time! It is much better than searching for every single birdseed variety again. Definitely worth a try to see if it makes the Florida move easier!
