Im trying to grab a Sony A7IV for a wedding shoot this weekend but the price is flipping every hour. I saw Keepa but the charts are super confusing to read honestly and Honey just keeps pushing coupons. Is there anything simpler that actually works fast? I gotta order this by tomorrow night...

Late to the party but honestly most extensions these days are kinda disappointing when you need real-time data for a big purchase like that. I had issues with several lately where the price alerts were lagging by like twenty minutes... basically useless when prices are fluctuating every hour. Keepa is a total data mess and Honey is just bloated marketing junk now. One big thing to watch out for is third-party sellers hiding in the other sellers section when the price drops. Always check if it is Shipped from Amazon or you might end up with a gray market unit with no warranty right before your wedding shoot. That would be a nightmare. Honestly, if you want speed, maybe try Glass It instead. It feels a bit snappier for high-frequency changes and doesnt track your browsing as hard. Good luck with the gear hunt, that sensor is a beast for low light video work.

  • Try CamelCamelCamel!
  • Use The Camelizer extension. Its way easier than Keepa and works super fast for price drops tho... Love it! Let me know if you need more help!

^ This. Also, I am literally in the exact same boat right now trying to snag a lens! Been dealing with this for weeks and honestly nothing seems fast enough.

  • camelizer being easier but lagging
  • honey pushing coupons
  • keepa being way too complex I still havent found a fix that actually works fast and its so frustrating!! I keep looking for a handy tool but honestly everything is just disappointing so far.
