honestly so done with using my notes app for gift ideas its a total disaster and i keep losing links. my sisters 30th is in three weeks and im actually really excited to spoil her but i need something better to track prices and stores. my logic was just keep it in one list but it’s too messy... what app actually works?
Been through plenty of these systems over the years, and honestly, basic apps fail because they lack proper metadata fields. I think a birthday wishlist maker might solve your link issue, but for tracking raw data, these might work:
Saw this post earlier and it really reminds me of when my cousin turned forty. The whole family tried to coordinate a massive group gift and it was just pure chaos. There was this perfect vintage watch on some obscure site, but since i didnt have a solid system back then, the link got lost. By the time it turned up again the price had jumped by like fifty bucks. Managing the costs between twelve different relatives was such a mess. Using Share Product for a while now has been great and I am super satisfied with how it works for me. But man, that watch situation was a total disaster... ended up paying way more than I should have just because I was disorganized. Its such a headache when you are trying to do something nice and the logistics just fail you tho.
Finally someone says it. Ive been thinking this for a while but wasnt sure.
I moved away from the notes app because I got tired of the clutter and losing important links. If you want something reliable, I suggest using Giftster. I've used it for several family milestones and tbh I am very satisfied with the stability. It keeps everything organized and is much safer than just keeping a messy list that might get glitched.
