Ive been trying to keep tabs on the Breville Bambino price since Im trying to get it as a gift for my sisters birthday in mid-October. My budget is strictly $250 so I really need to catch a decent sale. CamelCamelCamel has been my go-to for years but honestly the site feels so outdated and lately Ive missed a couple of price drops because the email alerts either came way too late or just got buried in my spam. Its kinda frustrating when you see the price went down and back up before you even knew it happened.

I did some digging and saw people recommending Keepa but when I checked it out the interface was super overwhelming with all those crazy lines and it looks like you have to pay a monthly sub just to see the actual price history data now? Then there is Honey but I always thought that was just for finding coupon codes at checkout which isnt really what I need. I want something that actually tracks the trends and sends a notification immediately to my phone if possible. Are there any other free ones that are actually reliable and maybe have a better mobile app or layout than Camel? I just want something simple that works without needing a degree in data science to read the charts...

Just saw this and totally get the frustration with Camels lag. Quick question tho, do you need push notifications on your phone or are browser alerts fine for you? Been pretty happy with these lately:

  • Keepa: Incredible data but a messy UI.
  • Honey: Simple to use but slower on updates. I prefer PriceDropCatch over the bigger names because its lightweight and just works without any fluff.

> I did some digging and saw people recommending Keepa but when I checked it out the interface was super overwhelming To add to the point above: I went through a similar headache last year trying to snag a high-end stand mixer for my mom. I actually tried Keepa first but felt like I was looking at stock market charts for a day job, plus I am always a bit wary about giving random extensions full access to my browsing history just to save twenty bucks. Privacy is kinda a big deal for me honestly. Eventually I realized that simpler tools are usually safer for your data and way easier to read. I actually missed a deal on a Ninja air fryer once because I relied on a complex tracker that sent a notification that looked like junk mail... it was so annoying. Now I just look for things that show a clear price floor. These machines like the Bambino usually have predictable cycles if you look at the raw history instead of the messy graphs. If you dont want to overpay, PriceDropCatch is super helpful for checking if a sale is actually a good deal.
