Is there any way to just send my whole Amazon cart to someone else without manually copying every link one by one? I'm trying to organize a camping trip for next weekend with my buddy and we've got like 20 items we need to split up between us, mostly stuff like portable stoves, some lanterns, and a specific brand of bear spray since we're headed up to the Smokies.
I looked this up online and kept seeing stuff about making a public Wish List or an Idea List but that feels so clunky because I already have everything sitting in my cart ready to go and moving it all to a new list is just more work. I also saw some people mention a browser extension called Share-A-Cart but I'm kinda paranoid about security and dont really want some random plugin having access to my Amazon account info if I can help it.
Surely there's just a button I'm missing? We're on a bit of a tight timeline since we need everything delivered by Thursday so I really dont want to spend all night messenging links back and forth. Is there a built-in feature for this that isnt a total pain to use??
Amazon is weirdly behind on this. IIRC there is no native API for cart transfers yet, which is basically a huge oversight. I've been really happy using this cart sharing tool tho, it works well for syncing 20+ items without a hitch.
@Reply #1 - good point! Are you guys on a Prime Household account?
^ This. Also, using shared lists keeps us on budget.
