Is it possible to email my Walmart cart to someone else?

So I am doing the weekly grocery run for my mom down in Florida she is getting older and it’s just easier if I pick out the stuff for her but she wants to use her own credit card for the rewards points. Usually I just log into her account directly but she changed her password and now the two factor authentication is being a total pain and she can't find the code on her phone fast enough. I’ve been using the Walmart app and the site for years so I thought I knew all the tricks but I’m honestly stuck here. I spent like forty minutes building this huge cart with all her specific brands of soy milk and those specific low sodium crackers she likes and now I can't find a way to just send it to her. I was looking for some kind of export button or even a way to email the list as a live link so she can just open it and check out on her end but the share button only seems to work for individual items which is super annoying. Is there some hidden setting I'm missing or maybe a chrome extension that does this? I really don't want to have to manually re-add all forty items to her account one by one because it’s already getting late and I have work in the morning...

I ran into this exact wall trying to coordinate a big order for my current setup. Total nightmare with the security codes. I finally found a way to bundle the session data so I dont have to mess with passwords anymore. It's been working really well and keeps things organized. I just use Easy Cart Share whenever I need to show someone what's in my cart without giving out my login info.

Building on the earlier suggestion, I actually think using a dedicated extension is a way better move than trying to mess with session data or manual codes! I do the grocery shopping for my grandma every single weekend and it used to be a total nightmare trying to find her specific snacks while staying on budget. I started using this cart sharing tool and it is honestly amazing how much time it saves!!

  • Always check for those hidden Rollback deals before you hit send so she gets the best price.
  • Use the list view to quickly spot if you accidentally added a name brand instead of the cheaper Great Value version. It is seriously a game changer for staying organized and cost-conscious. I love it so much because I dont have to worry about her account security anymore and we save a ton of money by reviewing the cart together first!

Honestly, I am in the exact same boat and it is so incredibly disappointing that this isnt a feature yet. I have been dealing with this for like six months now while trying to help my aunt with her groceries, and every single time we hit that 2FA wall it basically ruins our evening... she can never find the text code in time and then the whole session just times out. I have wasted so much time looking for a simple send cart button or even a reliable way to export the list but there is just nothing. I even started using this tool for price alerts just to keep track of her favorites while I wait for a real fix, but it doesnt solve the sharing problem. It is honestly kinda pathetic that such a massive site makes it this hard to just help someone shop. Still looking for a real answer tho...

Unfortunately, Walmart is still basically in the stone age because there is no way to just email a live cart. I went through the exact same nightmare last Christmas trying to coordinate a big grocery haul for my sister who was hosting. Youd think a massive company would have a simple share button for the whole cart by now, but nope. I spent forever clicking that useless share link on individual items before realizing it just sends a link to a product page, not the actual cart. Its honestly so disappointing and not as helpful as youd expect from a retail giant. Quick tip: the only real workaround without sharing passwords is to move everything from the cart into a custom List. You can name it something like Groceries for Mom and then share the link to that list. The technical catch is that she still has to click add to cart for every single item on her end once she opens the list, which is a total pain for forty items. There are some chrome extensions that try to fix this, but I had issues with them being glitchy on mobile or just failing to find specific items. Honestly, if she cant handle the 2FA fast enough, your best bet is to just have her stay on the phone and read the code the second you trigger it. Trying to find a hidden export button is just gonna lead to more frustration because it simply doesnt exist.

^ This. Also, the thread pretty much nails the situation—Walmart is still way behind on this. Everyone here is basically choosing between the 2FA nightmare or using a third-party tool to bypass the login mess. I actually tried a DIY route a few months back where I just copied all the item names into a shared doc for my sister. It was a total disaster tho because half the stuff went out of stock by the time she opened it or she picked the wrong sizes. Learned the hard way that trying to do it manually is just a waste of energy. I eventually just settled on using an extension for my current setup and it makes things way more reliable. Its definitely the most logical way to save time if youre doing this every week.
