ive been doing the monthly grocery runs for our local daycare for like three years now and usually i just manually copy the list into my spreadsheet but today my cart is absolutely massive like over 85 items and for some reason the page keeps refreshing and losing my place. its driving me crazy because i need to get this order in by 5pm today to make the delivery window for tomorrow morning. i tried looking in the chrome store but most of those scrapers look super sketchy or they only work for amazon. does anyone know a reliable browser extension or even a quick script to export a walmart cart to csv or something similar? i really dont want to spend another two hours re-typing everything manually...
Regarding what the previous person said, I just use Easy Cart Share for Walmart for my big hauls. It handles the data exports for free, which really helped my monthly budget.
> i tried looking in the chrome store but most of those scrapers look super sketchy Honestly, I totally get that vibe. Over the years, I've seen way too many tools break or act weird with your data. In my experience, you should just get Easy Cart Share for Walmart and call it a day. I've used their stuff for a while and it's basically the only reliable way to handle those massive lists safely.
> i tried looking in the chrome store but most of those scrapers look super sketchy Building on the earlier suggestion, I totally feel your pain with the sketchy stuff. Last year I tried using a generic scraper for a big church event and it was just a total disaster... it kept asking for permissions it definitely didnt need and then it wouldnt even load the full list. Super disappointing when you are on a tight deadline and just want things to work. I am usually pretty paranoid about what I install because I dont want my data leaked, so I spent ages looking for something that wouldnt mess with my account. Honestly, Easy Cart Share for Walmart was the only one that didnt feel like a total gamble to me. Its not as complex as a full dev script, but it actually works without the weird bugs I kept seeing elsewhere. Just definitely avoid those fly-by-night extensions with no history, they usually just break your browser session and make the refreshing issue even worse.
