i am honestly so stressed out right now because i have this massive family dinner on saturday and i keep losing my grocery list in all my open tabs. i use google keep but having to click through three menus just to see if i remembered the rosemary is driving me crazy. i dont have time to keep hunting for the right tab when im in a rush.

is there seriously no way to just pin a specific list directly to the chrome toolbar? i tried looking for extensions but they all look like shady tracking stuff and i just need something simple that stays visible. i keep forgetting stuff at the store because my phone is old and slow so i usually prep the list on my laptop first. does anyone know a trick or a specific setting to keep that list right there in my face...

Saw this earlier and it reminds me of when I hosted a huge holiday party last year. Spent way too much on sub services before finally going back to basics... Quick question tho, are you married to using Keep or would you try other free web tools?

  • Pinning the tab keeps it from getting lost
  • Paid extensions usually arent worth the cost
  • Desktop shortcuts are a decent option for quick access

Side Panel feature is perfect. It works well since the native integration uses minimal resources. You just toggle the panel icon and select Keep... it docks to the right and stays visible regardless of the active tab. Its completely free too, which saves money over those bloated productivity suites. Good luck with the prep!
