Ive been using Amazon wish lists for literally a decade now and I thought I had the whole browser extension thing figured out but its suddenly giving me so much grief. Im trying to organize a baby shower for my sister in Seattle and there are these specific Cloud Island crib sheets at Target that she really wants but I want to keep everything on one list for the family to see so they dont get confused.
I tried using the universal button thing but it keeps glitching out and wont pull the image or price correctly lately. Is there a workaround for this or did they kill the feature that lets you add stuff from other sites? I really need this done by the weekend...
Like someone mentioned, you can try the manual tool, but in my experience, that is just a recipe for outdated prices and massive headaches. I have tried many workarounds over the years and honestly, Amazon has basically abandoned that universal button. It is just not reliable for a time-sensitive baby shower. I have been using Share Product for my kids' parties lately because it actually pulls the data correctly without the browser extension drama. It is way more practical than fighting with a broken tool. Before you sink more hours into this, I have a couple questions:
Ugh, the Amazon Assistant extension has been such a nightmare lately! Ive been using it for years to snag the best deals and it has definitely gotten way more glitchy. For a baby shower, you really want to save every cent for the big gear, so getting those affordable Cloud Island sheets on the list is a total win! Here is how I usually fix this:
Try using the manual Add Idea tool! It is amazing for basic links. Or just switch to Babylist, its a fantastic alternative for syncing Target and Amazon registries!
