I'm organizing a school fundraiser for my son's class here in Seattle and we need supplies by Friday but I'm totally lost. I don't know how to let other parents add stuff to my cart or change things. Sorry if this is a dumb question but how do I let them edit it?
Honestly, you cant actually let people edit your live cart directly, which is super annoying. I ran into this exact problem last year for a charity drive and it was such a headache. Unfortunately, Amazon just doesnt have a collab feature for carts yet. The best bet is just making a Wish List instead. Its way easier... just set up any list with Amazon so they can add things.
> Using a Wish List with collaboration is fantastic Just thought of this while grabbing coffee... totally agree that lists are the way to go. I used them for our PTA last month and was super satisfied with how it turned out, basically no complaints. One quick tip for the budget: check if the school has a tax-exempt status set up on Amazon. It saves a ton of money on supplies. Also, remind the other parents to look at the warehouse options for stuff like storage bins or heavy gear. It works well to keep costs down so more money goes to the kids. Im always happy to see people stepping up for school stuff, honestly. Just watch those delivery windows since Friday is coming up fast! You got this.
I love organizing these events! I did a huge school play fundraiser last year and it was amazing. Just a warning tho: never share your login info with others! Its a massive security risk. Using a Wish List with collaboration is fantastic, but watch for these technical pitfalls:
