Trying to finish my home office setup and I'm desperate for a 34 inch ultrawide but only got about $400 to spend. I've been hunting for those legendary Amazon Warehouse Used
I read some threads saying to use Keepa to track prices but that feels like it takes forever if I don't have a specific model in mind yet. My logic was that there's gotta be a hidden way to filter for just the 50% off open-box stuff rather than clicking through a million pages of 5% discounts. Am I just looking in the wrong spot or do I need a special tool for this...
> Am I just looking in the wrong spot I would suggest checking the Renewed section too, but make sure to avoid anything below Like New... monitors are risky and dead pixels suck tho.
Building on the earlier suggestion, I'd say be careful. I used this tool for price alerts for my desk and it was stressful.
Just saw this thread and unfortunately, the reality of the Warehouse system is pretty disappointing if you're chasing specific specs like a 34-inch IPS with high color accuracy. Their automated pricing doesn't really prioritize the deep discounts unless an item has been sitting for ages. I've had issues with monitors showing up as Like New but actually being older hardware revisions with terrible ghosting and backlight bleed. Like someone mentioned, the risks are high with panels because the inspection process is usually just a quick power-on test. It's not as good as expected because the system doesn't account for panel degradation or dead pixels that only appear after it warms up. Most of those massive 50 percent drops are automated based on return frequency, which honestly is usually a red flag for a defective unit. Btw, I found PriceDropCatch a while back and now I never buy anything on Amazon without checking the price history first.
