My sister is helping me buy stuff for my first apartment in Phoenix and I put like 20 things in my cart but I cant find a share button anywhere. Im really bad at technology so sorry if this is obvious but how do I just send the whole list to her so she can pay for it on her end?

unfortunately i totally get where you're coming from... its so frustrating. i tried those third party cart share apps once and honestly had issues with them glitching and messing up my pricing, which made me really nervous about my personal info. it's just not as good as it looks on paper. like why is it so hard for a massive company to just add a share button? it makes budgeting for a new apartment way more stressful than it needs to be. you spend forever hunting for the best deals on stuff like silverware and bath mats only to realize you have to basically do the work twice if you want someone else to pay. it feels super unreliable and honestly kinda unsafe to be link-sharing lists through random sites. i really wish they would just make it simple for us regulars who aren't tech geniuses... its such a headache tbh.

Just saw this! Try these:

  • use the Share-A-Cart extension
  • its totally amazing and fast!!
  • or just make a gift registry and share that link!

Like someone mentioned, it's a bit of a headache that Walmart still hasn't added this feature natively. In my experience, you're basically looking at a few paths to get this done without losing your mind or your budget. Since you're moving to Phoenix, every dollar counts... trust me, I've lived through three moves and the costs add up fast.

  • Use an extension. Like others said, Share-A-Cart is the gold standard here. It's basically just moving SKU data and quantities from your session to hers. Fast, easy, and saves you from re-typing everything.
  • The registry hack. It's a bit clunky but works if you're worried about third-party apps. Just create a housewarming registry, add your stuff, and send the link.
  • The manual DIY way. Screenshot the cart and have her search the items. Honestly tho, this is a recipe for getting the wrong items and missing those rollback prices you found. Over the years, I've found that using a tool is the most efficient way to snag budget deals before they sell out. Just double-check the prices right before she hits buy because Walmart's dynamic pricing can be a real pain sometimes. Good luck with the new place!

Oh wow, congrats on the new place in Phoenix! Such a huge milestone!! Honestly, Walmart is the absolute best for apartment shopping because you can snag amazing deals on essentials without breaking the bank. I totally get the frustration tho because Walmart surprisingly doesnt have a built in share button for carts yet. Its kinda wild right?? Since I am super careful about security and reliability, I always look for methodical ways to handle this. You definitely dont want to just give someone your login info... thats a huge safety risk! I have handled this a few times and here are the most secure ways to do it while sticking to a budget:

  • Create a Gift Registry: This is fantastic because it categorizes everything and ensures your sister sees the exact price points.
  • Build a Wishlist: You can set it to public or shared, which is super reliable for collaborative shopping.
  • Use a third party resource: I personally recommend checking out EasyCartShare because it makes the whole process of transferring items seamless and secure! Definitely keep an eye on those Rollback deals while you do this. I saved so much money on my first air fryer and bedding set by watching the price drops. It is honestly so satisfying to see the savings add up!! Managing a budget for a first apartment can be stressful but finding those deals is just so rewarding. Good luck with the move!

Congrats on the move! Moving is a huge project so I totally get wanting to make this easier. Since Walmart doesnt have a built-in button, you basically have two main options for this. The most direct way is using a tool like Share-A-Cart which is a browser extension. It works well and is pretty reliable for just moving the items over without having to share your actual account login, which is good for security. If you want to stick strictly to Walmarts own features though, you could create a Registry or a List and share that link instead. Its a bit more work because you have to add everything to the list one by one, whereas the extension just grabs the whole cart at once. Both are decent options, just depends on how much tech stuff you want to fiddle with... hope your move goes smooth!

^ This. Also, i saw this earlier but just now getting around to replying. Honestly i was super skeptical about using a third party tool at first because im kinda paranoid about security and stuff. But ive been using Share-A-Cart for a while now and im really satisfied with how it works. No complaints here because it doesnt actually ask for your login or any sensitive details... that would be way too creepy for me. It just bundles the items into a simple code you send over. I used it when i moved into my last place and my parents wanted to help out with some kitchen stuff. I just sent them the link and they checked out on their end. Its really reliable and saved us so much time compared to sending individual links. Since youre dealing with 20 items, this is definitely the way to go so you dont lose your mind... congrats on the Phoenix move btw!

Regarding what #7 said about the security and not needing a login... I am exactly the same way. Honestly, I have tried many different tools over the years and most of them ask for way too much access, so Share-A-Cart is definitely the safest bet. Just a quick tip though based on my experience with compatibility: make sure both you and your sister are using a desktop browser when you do this. Sometimes if one person is on the mobile site and the other is on a computer, the cart sync can get a bit glitchy and drop items. Also, check that your items arent set to local pickup only at a store near you, otherwise she might see them as out of stock on her end if she is in a different zip code. Moving is such a massive project, but you are gonna love Phoenix once you get settled!

Late to the party but this whole thread is 💯. Glad I found it.

Hey! Moving to Phoenix is such a blast!! Since Walmart still hasnt coded a native share feature yet, which is honestly wild, you definitely need a performance-driven tool to get those items over to your sister fast. I love using Share-A-Cart because its super lightweight and doesnt lag your browser at all. Here is the play-by-play:

  • Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store
  • Open your cart page with all your new apartment gear
  • Click the extension icon to generate a unique code in like two seconds
  • Text that code to your sister and she can pull it up on her side Its the most efficient way to handle 20+ items without having to re-add everything manually. If you want to stay extra organized during the move, definitely look into this Walmart shopping list creator. It handles all the backend SKU data perfectly and makes the whole logistics side of moving way less of a headache! It seriously saves so much time compared to manual entry...
