Is there a way to share my Amazon shopping cart with a friend?

Seriously is there any actual way to just share my whole Amazon cart with my roommate without having to copy paste every single link one by one? I'm honestly so fed up with how difficult this is. We're trying to prep for a camping trip to the Adirondacks next weekend and we have like 22 items in the cart ranging from tent stakes to those portable coffee makers. Our budget is around 300 bucks and I thought there would be a simple share button by now but I cant find it anywhere and it is driving me crazy. I've spent forty minutes looking through settings and I'm about ready to just give up and buy everything myself but we really need to split the cost. Does anyone know a workaround or a chrome extension that actually works for this...

I totally agree, it is annoying how Amazon still lacks a native cart-sharing feature. Technically, they keep cart data tied strictly to session IDs for security, but it makes collaboration a nightmare. Honestly, I've had issues with most workarounds, but Easy Cart Share is one of the few extensions that actually functions without crashing. It definitely saves time when you're on a budget.

@Reply #2 - good point! Lists are amazing for staying on budget!

  • Love how they track price drops automatically tho!
  • Makes splitting costs way easier!

To add to the point above: if you want to avoid third-party extensions, the cleanest native workaround is using the Amazon Wishlist feature. Its basically the standard way to collaborate on a haul without sharing account logins. Heres the breakdown on how to make it work for a trip:

  • Bulk move everything from your cart into a new private list.
  • Click Invite at the top of the list page and set it to allow anyone with the link to edit.
  • Send that link to your roommate so they can review the 22 items. It works because it tracks who added what and keeps your 300 dollar budget in sight. The downside is the extra step of moving things back to the cart, but it beats copy-pasting links manually. Another route is the Amazon Household setup, but that shares credit cards, which is usually overkill for friends just trying to grab tent stakes. It really depends on how much you trust them with your prime benefits long-term.
