Ugh so my daughters 6th birthday is coming up in like three weeks and I am honestly drowning in all these choices for where to set up her list. We live in this tiny two bedroom place in Seattle and last year we ended up with like three giant plastic dollhouses because nobody communicated and my living room looked like a toy store exploded. I need something that actually works so people dont buy the same thing twice.
Right now im looking at Amazon because obviously its easy but honestly their gift lists always feel so cluttered and I hate that prices jump around every ten minutes. Then there is MyRegistry which seems cool since I can add stuff from local shops too but im worried my older relatives will find it too confusing to navigate and just give up. I also looked at Target because they have a great return policy if we get duplicates anyway but their selection is kinda limited compared to the others. I just want something that wont frustrate my parents but also keeps us from getting ten more huge plastic toys we have no room for. Which one of these is actually the best for managing everything in one spot without it being a total headache for everyone involved?
> im worried my older relatives will find it too confusing to navigate Unfortunately, MyRegistry was a total mess for my family. Links broke constantly and we still ended up with duplicates because the purchased button didnt work right. Not as good as expected honestly. I eventually moved to Share Product since its free and actually syncs correctly. Its way more reliable for keeping track of what people are actually buying.
Unfortunately, I had major issues with Amazon leaking my info. I switched to Share Product because its way more secure. Just avoid sites with forced logins so your grandparents dont get frustrated.
