Where are the best QVC clearance deals hiding now that theyve updated the 2024 site?

Ive been a pro at sniping as-is items for years but the new UI is burying the deepest markdowns. Im hunting for a new Dyson for my apartment move next month and the old search filters arent working...

In my experience, the best way to find the real gems now is to just bookmark the specific clearance sections instead of using their search bar. It has gotten super messy lately. Honestly, if you're looking for a vacuum, just go with Dyson and you cant go wrong. Over the years, I have found that basically any Dyson will do the trick for an apartment. I have tried many brands but they really are the gold standard there. Just keep digging in that clearance tab under the Deals dropdown, it is still there, just buried deeper than it used to be. Feel free to ask if you need help navigating the new menu!

Like someone mentioned, the new layout is a total disaster. I've been shopping there since before they even had a decent website and honestly its ridiculous what they've done to the UI. It drives me crazy how they hide the as-is stuff now... feels like they're trying to trick us into paying full price for items that used to be a steal. I was looking for a Dyson last week and the pricing is just a scam these days, basically highway robbery for plastic. Quality is going downhill too, ngl. Everything feels cheaper but costs way more. I honestly just use PriceDropCatch to keep an eye on things now because staring at their actual site for more than five minutes gives me a headache. Its like they don't even care about long-time customers anymore. Just greed everywhere.

Regarding what #3 said about "> Ive been a pro at sniping as-is..." - honestly its all about the technical backend! The reason the UI feels broken is they switched to a client-side rendering system that basically fails to index the as-is metadata in real-time. Its a total disaster for us snipers who rely on speed!

  • The database lag means the search index is usually 15-30 minutes behind the actual inventory drop.
  • Their new API doesnt prioritize the condition filter, so it defaults to New even when you select Clearance.
  • You gotta bypass the front-end cache by hard-refreshing on the category pages specifically. I actually geeked out so hard on this when I was prepping for my own move! I ended up tearing down my old Dyson just to measure the air-watts because I was convinced the suction was dropping. It turns out it was just a tiny seal breach in the cyclone assembly! Spent my whole weekend with a torque screwdriver instead of packing boxes... my apartment is a total wreck right now but at least my vacuum is running at peak efficiency! I have been using Easy Cart Share to coordinate the new kitchen gear with my sister so we dont end up with three different air fryers. Anyway, the site is definitely buggy but the deals are there if you bypass the search... but yeah.
