What is the best tool to share my Amazon cart as a link?

I'm actually about to pull my hair out trying to do something that should be so simple. My brothers wedding is in like two months and I've been tasked with handling the bulk of the reception decor shopping since I have Prime. I have about 45 items sitting in my Amazon cart right now—everything from fairy lights to specific linen napkins—and I just need to send the whole thing to him so he can put in his credit card info and hit buy on his own account.

Why is there no button for this??

I spent way too long googling it and I keep seeing people suggest the Amazon Collaborative Library or Idea Lists but honestly that seems like a total nightmare. From what I can tell, I would have to manually move every single item to a list and it doesnt even seem to save the quantities I picked out. I need 25 packs of those napkins, not just one. Then I saw people talking about an extension called Share-A-Cart or something similar. I almost downloaded it but then I saw a couple reddit threads saying some of these extensions can be buggy or might have privacy issues, and I really dont want to mess around with that when my brother is going to be spending like $800 on this order.

Here is what I actually need:

  • It has to be free because I am totally broke after buying my bridesmaid dress and flights to the venue.
  • It has to preserve the quantities of the items because I am not re-typing all that.
  • I need it to be easy for him to open on his phone because he is always on the go and rarely uses a desktop.
  • It needs to be reliable so items dont just disappear during the transfer.

I am just so frustrated that I might have to manually send him 45 separate links via text which sounds like a literal circle of hell. Does anyone actually use those third party tools or is there a hidden Amazon feature I am just too blind to see? I just want a single link I can copy paste into a text message...

Quick question, are you on a desktop or your phone? You should definitely just use Cart To Link, it is an amazing tool and works perfectly for large orders!

Like someone mentioned, carttolink.com is probably your best bet. I had issues with other tools where half the items just vanished into thin air... it was a nightmare. Unfortunately, most of these options are pretty disappointing when you have 40+ items, tho that one is usually okay. Quick tips:

  • Dont use items with 'one-time' coupons, they wont transfer.
  • Make sure your brother is logged in before clicking your link.

I was pretty nervous about using third-party stuff too, but this chrome extension is a decent option if you want to avoid lists. It is free and handles the quantities correctly, which sounds like exactly what you need. I used it for a big group order and it was actually pretty straightforward. It just sends a link that the other person opens to load everything up.

Any updates on this?
