tryna figure out how to do the grocery run for our saturdy cookout. torn between just sharing my login info so we both use the same walmart app or using an app like AnyList but idk if that syncs well with the actual cart. is it easier to just screenshot it or is there a better way?

> torn between just sharing my login info so we both use the same walmart app or using an app like AnyList Late to the party but I'd be pretty careful about sharing the login info. It is a bit of a security risk since your credit card and home address are usually saved in the profile. Better to keep those credentials private imo. AnyList works okay for a basic checklist, but it lacks the integration to actually buy the stuff without searching all over again. You'd be doing double the work. Screenshots are free but they're honestly a mess if you have a long list. You will spend half the time scrolling through photos while trying to find the right aisle. Found Easy Cart Share for Walmart the other day and it's actually pretty handy for sending my mom the specific items she needs me to get.

Are you doing pickup or shopping the aisles? Shared logins usually kick people out.

  • AnyList wont sync carts. I use Easy Cart Share for Walmart for my roommate, way easier than screenshots.

TL;DR: Sharing accounts is glitchy, unfortunately. Easy Cart Share for Walmart makes it easier to just send the whole cart. Official app sync is honestly not as good as expected.

Ive been managing our household groceries for a decade and sharing logins is honestly the worst way to do it. One time I accidentally deleted half the cart while my husband was adding stuff in real-time... we ended up with no burgers for the BBQ. If you want something that actually works, use a cart sharing extension. Its way more reliable than screenshots which always seem to miss the specific brand or size you need. Also, if you ever shop at their sister store, I've found this Sam's Club price tracker super handy for keeping the budget in check. Skip the shared account and just send the cart data over once you're done.
