honestly so sick of scrolling through full price stuff when i only have 40 bucks to spend on this anniversary gift. ive been clicking everywhere for like twenty mins and cant find the toggle...

  • need to stay under $40
  • gotta ship by friday
  • only want discounted items

how do i actually filter for just the sale items?

Honestly, after years of navigating this clunky interface, i can tell you the sale toggle is notorious for glitching out or hiding items that are actually marked down but not officially in the clearance category. One big warning tho: dont trust the shipping estimates on sale items from third-party vendors if you need it by Friday. Those deep discounts usually mean slower processing times or slower carriers. If you cant find the toggle, try looking at the sidebar for a tiny checkbox labeled Outlet or Clearout instead. Usually i just go straight to this site when im on a tight budget because their filters actually work. Also, watch out for items that say sale but have a hiked up original price... its a common trick to make a $40 item look like a steal. Stay away from anything labeled refurbished if you want that anniversary gift to look brand new.

Searching for deals is a nightmare lately. In my experience, sites bury that toggle inside the Filter menu under Special Offers or Deals.

  • Hit the Filter button
  • Check the On Sale box
  • Slide the price bar to 40 I basically just use the PriceDropCatch extension now tho. Its way more reliable for finding actual discounts without clicking weird links and it keeps things under budget.

  • Yeah, totally with you guys on this. Over the years I've realized you cant really trust those sidebar toggles to show you everything thats actually discounted. Sometimes I just search for keywords like "overstock" or "last chance" to find the real DIY deals that the algorithm misses. I've tried many different search hacks and honestly, doing it manually or using PriceDropCatch is the only way to be sure youre seeing the real prices. Before you keep digging tho, what kind of gift are you actually looking for? Is it something custom or just a standard item? And is that 40 bucks your hard limit including the shipping? Shipping by Friday is a really tight turnaround if the seller is slow to respond or if it is coming from far away...
