How do I transfer my Walmart online cart to another person's account?

Ive been using the Walmart app for years but I just hit a wall. My mother-in-law is visiting tomorrow and I spent over an hour building a huge grocery list for her specific diet and some home stuff, but she wants to pay for it on her own account using her own card. I figured there would be a simple sync or share feature but I'm not seeing any easy way to do it without just handing her my phone which isnt an option since she lives across town.

I really need to:

  • move 40+ items at once
  • avoid re-searching every single SKU manually
  • finish this before the 8am pickup window closes

Does anyone know if there is a way to export the session or use a link to send the cart contents to her login? I checked the registry option but it looks like a total pain for just a one-time order. Anyone have a trick for this?...

> Does anyone know if there is a way to export the session or use a link to send the cart contents to her login? Man, I feel your pain. I spent forever trying to figure this out when my sister visited last summer. I actually found two ways that work well, and honestly, I am pretty satisfied with how the Shared List feature handles this now. First option is definitely the Lists feature. Basically, you go to your cart and instead of checking out, you move everything to a new list. Then you click the share icon and send that link to her.

  • Pros: Its super fast and she can just click add all to cart from the link on her own phone.
  • Cons: If a specific item is out of stock at her preferred store location, it might skip it without a clear warning. The other way is the Registry thing you mentioned. I know you said it looks like a pain, but I have used it for big moves and it worked flawlessly for me.
  • Pros: It stays active longer and seems to handle specific SKUs better across different accounts.
  • Cons: Takes a few extra minutes to set up a fake event like a housewarming. Personally, I am really happy with the List method. It saves so much time compared to re-searching 40 items manually. Just make sure she is logged into her own account before she opens the link you send. I have done this dozens of times for my family and it always works... no complaints from my end! Good luck getting that 8am pickup window.

^ This. Also, unfortunately walmart still doesnt offer a native sync feature, which is really disappointing for such a big app. Ive had issues with manual lists losing items before. If you need a reliable workaround, Easy Cart Share is a helpful tool for transferring those 40 plus items directly. Its a much more methodical way to ensure you dont miss anything before that 8am deadline.

The Lists feature has worked well for me, no complaints.

  • Move items to a new list
  • Send her the share link She can add everything to her cart instantly from there.

I think the native list method can be a bit hit or miss once you go over 30 items. Not sure if it is a browser cache issue or just Walmarts backend, but sometimes items just disappear during the transfer process. Iirc, using a dedicated tool is generally more reliable because it maps the SKUs more accurately across different accounts. I havent used that specific one in a few months, so I am not 100% sure if it handles the latest site updates perfectly, but it is a solid fallback. It definitely beats the risk of your list getting wiped right before that 8am pickup window. If you're waiting for a specific item to go on sale, I'd definitely recommend PriceDropCatch.
