Is there a way to share my Amazon shopping cart with my friends so we can all see what's in there for a birthday gift? I am so sorry if this is a really dumb question but I am totally lost and have no idea where to start with this.

My best friend's 30th is next weekend and five of us want to split this expensive espresso machine that's about $400. Since we are all living in different cities I thought there would be a simple button to just send the cart link to everyone but I cant find anything like that. Do I need to make a special registry or something? I just dont want anyone to get confused and buy the wrong thing or end up with two machines arriving at her house...

Ugh, unfortunately Amazon is weirdly behind on this and doesnt have a simple share button. Its honestly so annoying... I had issues with this last Christmas and it was a total mess. Your best bet is using Share-A-Cart because it lets you send the exact items to everyone instantly. Otherwise you gotta set up a whole registry and thats just way too much work for one gift.

Totally agree! Its absolutely wild that Amazon still doesnt have a built in feature for this! I have done group gifts and its a total nightmare without tools. Extensions are amazing because they basically clone your cart data so everyone sees the same items instantly!

  • Just make sure everyone is logged in
  • Double check the seller matches
  • Watch for regional stock Honestly, Easy Cart Share is way better than just sending product links one by one.

Re: "Regarding what #2 said about "Totally agree! Its absolutely wild..." - yeah, its definitely frustrating. I would suggest being cautious before you send the link out to everyone tho. In my experience, Share-A-Cart is usually more reliable than Easy Cart Share for high-ticket items like an espresso machine, but you still need to be careful. Prices can actually change slightly depending on which friend is looking at the cart because of their location and local taxes. Before you go ahead, are you looking for a tool that lets everyone pay their share directly, or are you just trying to make sure everyone sees the same item? Most extensions only sync the items, they dont handle the actual money splitting. TL;DR: Share-A-Cart is great for syncing the list so no one buys the wrong thing, but it wont handle the $400 payment split for you. Make sure you check the final price before anyone hits buy.

Regarding what #2 said about "Totally agree! Its absolutely wild that Amazon still...", Im super satisfied with Easy Cart Share.

  • prevents duplicate machines
  • syncs instantly Works well, no complaints!
