How can I set alerts for Amazon price decreases?

Is there a way to get actual notifications on my phone the second something on my Amazon list drops in price? I am finally doing a kitchen remodel here in Chicago and I have been staring at the Breville Barista Express for weeks now but its just so expensive. My budget is strictly $500 for the machine but it keeps sticking at like $699 and I really need to buy it by the end of next month before the contractors finish up the new counters. I did a bit of searching and everyone says to use CamelCamelCamel or the Honey extension but I am kinda confused how they actually work for mobile. Like do I have to keep the tab open all the time? I really dont want to be checking my email every five minutes like a crazy person and Honey seems more like it just finds coupons at checkout rather than tracking the price over time. I tried the Watch this deal thing inside the actual Amazon app too but it just sends me notifications for random junk like batteries or dog treats which is super annoying. Is there an app or something that just pings your phone the second a specific URL drops below a certain price? I feel like I am missing something obvious but these tools I found feel a bit clunky for what I need...

In my experience, browser extensions like Honey are pretty useless for real-time mobile alerts. I've tried many tools over the years and most of them just spam your email. Honestly, I've been using PriceDropCatch to track deals lately and it's saved me a ton on tech gear. It lets you set a specific price threshold and sends a notification right to your phone when it hits. Much better than checking tabs manually.

I was in your shoes when I redid my coffee nook last summer. It was stressful. Spent weeks checking sites every hour for my machine. Breville is such a solid brand tho, you really cant go wrong with any of their machines. Trackers using email scraping are way too slow. To add to the point above: trackers are basically the only way to catch those brief price dips. Amazon shifts prices constantly and if you arent using a dedicated tool you will probably miss the window.

  • Use PriceDropCatch to set a specific threshold. Set it at 510 just to get a heads up when it gets close.
  • Turn off battery optimization for the app so the ping is actually instant.
  • Monitor the Used
  • Like New options from Amazon Warehouse. You can often snag those for under 500 when the main price is still high. Tbh it really comes down to how fast you can click once the notification hits. Email is way too slow for this kind of thing. Good luck with the kitchen.

Omg just get any espresso maker from Breville! They are absolutely amazing. For tracking:

  • use mobile app alerts
  • try warehouse deals Good luck, lmk if you need help!

To add to the point above: you definitely need a specialized tracker to catch that Breville! Being a total data nerd, I find generic apps just wont cut it when you are competing for high-demand kitchen gear. Honestly that machine is way better than the DeLonghi equivalents for build quality alone.

  • Keepa: The ultimate tool for data junkies! You get deep historical charts. Pros: Most detailed data available. Cons: Mobile UI is super cluttered.
  • PriceDropCatch: This one is fantastic for speed! It beats email alerts by a mile. Pros: Instant mobile pings. Cons: Less historical data than Keepa.
  • CamelCamelCamel: The classic web choice. Pros: Reliable. Cons: No native app so you rely on slow emails. If you want the fastest alert possible this site is the way to go. That Barista Express is amazing gear... just make sure your Amazon 1-click is on so you dont lose it!
