What are the best times to look for QVC markdowns?

Honestly I am just so over the QVC pricing game lately. It feels like every time I put something in my cart it sells out or the price magically increases by 20 bucks while I am sleeping and I miss the window. I have been eyeing that Dyson hair tool for my sisters graduation in June and I keep checking the site at like 2 AM because I thought that was when they updated the clearance section but I keep coming up empty handed or it is just the same old stuff. So I was thinking maybe there is a specific day of the week they drop the new markdowns? Like is it Tuesdays? My logic was that after the big weekend shows they would want to clear out the stock but honestly I cannot find a pattern at all and it is driving me crazy. I tried looking at the

  • As Is - section too but even those prices seem higher than they used to be and I am really trying to stay under 300 dollars for this whole gift. It is just so annoying to see - limited quantities - and then you refresh and it is gone forever. Is there a specific time zone they use for the daily deals or the clearance refreshes? I am on the east coast but maybe they refresh based on west coast time or something. I just feel like I am constantly chasing these sales and missing them by an hour every single time. When do you guys actually see the prices drop...

I have been shopping with them for over a decade and honestly, the timing is pretty inconsistent lately. In my experience, staying up until 2 AM is just gonna leave you tired. I used to do the same thing when I was hunting for my current kitchen setup... thought I had the timing down but missed it by minutes because their servers refresh at weird intervals. Here is what I have learned over the years:

  • The main daily deal updates at midnight EST sharp, but clearance markdowns usually happen between 3 AM and 6 AM EST.
  • Tuesdays and Fridays seem to be the heavy hitters for inventory shifts after big weekend programming.
  • Quantities are always super low so if you see it, just grab it. I stopped manual checking because it was driving me nuts. Now I use PriceDropCatch to alert me when things hit my target price. It is much more reliable than losing sleep and missing out anyway. Stick to the early morning hours if you are gonna hunt manually tho... it is usually your best bet.
