Which Chrome extension works best for syncing grocery lists across devices?

Ive been using this one basic notepad extension for years to keep my grocery list synced between my work PC and my phone but lately its just... glitching out? Like Ill add stuff while Im at the office and then I get to Aldi and half the items are missing from the mobile view. Super frustrating when youre trying to meal prep for a big family camping trip next weekend and you realize you forgot the marshmallows lol. I am usually pretty tech savvy with this stuff but I cant figure out why the sync or whatever isnt pushing the updates anymore. I even tried clearing the cache and re-logging but it still lags behind by like twenty minutes.

Im looking for something more robust that actually stays in sync properly. Here is what I am looking for:

  • Must have a dedicated Chrome extension, not just a website I have to keep pinned
  • Needs a solid Android app that works offline since my local store is basically a dead zone for cell service
  • Free is better but Id pay a couple bucks a month if its actually reliable and fast
  • Ability to share the list with my wife so we dont buy double milk again

Ive looked at stuff like Todoist but it feels like overkill for just eggs and bread. Is there something simpler that lives in the browser toolbar? I really want something where I can just hit a hotkey, type onions, and be done with it. Any of you guys found a hidden gem that doesnt eat up a ton of RAM?...

Jumping in here since I love optimizing these workflows! Quick question tho, are you using a managed work Chrome profile? Enterprise policies often throttle background data sync which might be causing that 20 minute lag. Honestly check out Bring! because its fantastic:

  • It has very low RAM overhead compared to Todoist
  • The Android app is incredible for offline caching in dead zones
  • Multi-user sync latency is basically non-existent

Unfortunately, many extensions suffer from high sync latency. I had issues with standard tools lately.

> Honestly check out Bring! because its fantastic Totally agree with that, but honestly Google Keep is what finally solved the sync lag for me. Its free and the Chrome extension is super light on RAM. The offline mode on Android works perfectly in those supermarket dead zones too. Ive been using it for a year now with no complaints and it has saved us from so many grocery store arguments lol.
