so im really struggling here and i feel kinda stupid even asking this but i need to find a way to track prices on qvc. my moms birthday is coming up in about three weeks and she has her eye on this specific teal kitchenaid mixer that usually costs a fortune. i have exactly 300 dollars saved from my shifts at the cafe and i really want to get it for her but the price keeps jumping around like crazy. i heard someone mention chrome extensions and i think those are the little icons at the top of the screen? but i have no idea which one actually works for qvc specifically.

my logic was that maybe there is something that just watches the page for me so i dont have to refresh it every hour while im at work. i tried googling it but all these tech blogs keep talking about honey or camelcamelcamel but i think camel is only for amazon? i get so confused with all the different buttons and i dont want to accidentally download a virus or something that steals my credit card info. is there like a simple one that just sends an email or a notification when the price drops? sorry if this is a really basic thing i just really dont want to miss a sale and let my mom down because i couldnt figure out the computer stuff. does anyone know one that actually works on the qvc website or am i just wishing for something that doesnt exist...

Saw this earlier and just wanted to chime in since I shop QVC a lot. Honestly, most extensions are not as good as expected for their site. I’ve had issues with them missing the flash sales, which is super frustrating. You’re better off with a dedicated QVC price tracker instead. Don’t feel bad tho, the tech is tricky! You’re doing a great thing for your mom and that $300 is a solid budget.

> It is kindof techy but it... ^ This. Also, I have to respectfully disagree with the recommendation to use Distill if you are already feeling overwhelmed by the tech side of things. It requires selecting specific website elements manually, and if QVC updates their site layout, the tracker might fail without you realizing it. Since you are worried about security and viruses, you might want to consider Capital One Shopping instead. It is a much more professional and straightforward tool for tracking price drops on major retail sites. You should be careful to only download it from the official Chrome Web Store. I would suggest setting up the price alerts immediately after installation. It is quite reliable and wont require you to touch any technical code settings. Just make sure to double check your email junk folder so you do not miss the notification when that KitchenAid finally hits your budget.

In my experience, youre right to be cautious. Ive tried many extensions over the years and some are definitely sketchy... Camel is strictly for Amazon, so skip that. For QVC, I recommend Distill Web Monitor.

  • It is safe and reliable
  • Tracks specific page elements
  • Sends email alerts It is kindof techy but it actually works on sites most trackers ignore. Youll get that mixer for your mom.
